Truth Unseen

in the presence of a stranger
challenging unrequited love
bursting at the seems
givin sensibility a shove
handing over your words
on a platter of gold
soon you'll be shedding tears
while watchin the years unfold
like an innocent child - usin your heart as a guide
with your chamber of secrets open wide
a lack of wisdom fuels the fire
a doe in the darkness your dreams still inspire
the love of lyrics and the big movie screen
the cold, hard truth in front of you...yet to be seen

oh this describes what my teenage daughter went through this week when her boyfriend of 2 days broke up with her.

she took to her facebook for some crypted messages. all i can say is she kept it clean but it was so sad to see it unfold in front of strangers.
