All at once I start to cry
not bothering to wipe the tears, I sigh
realizing what a fool I've been
it's too late now to get out of the trouble I'm in
I saw the signs from the start
yet I blindly gambled with my heart
Now I must let you go
what a shame, how I admired you so

Ah, this is sad! And, honest as well.
I guess all good byes are sad...but to have peace, sometimes we must move on even from those that we love, however heartbreaking it must be.
