F L O A T I N G. . . . .

The sadness that you left behind
has been washed away by salty tears

and the doubt that you instilled in me
lingers - amidst my strongest fears

Though, I know a secret and I keep it well
in a vault - under lock and key

For if I whisper it aloud
there'll be nothing left of me

So here I sit refreshed and ready to move forth
I'll come to know some grander things

but I'll hold fast to the memory of those days
when I was floating with an angel's wings

Beautiful words that break out heart. I do not know if all your words come from the heart but if they do..I can say your pain is as great as mine.
hugs,

I think holding to the memory of flying and keeping the secret that holds you together is a wise strategy.
