Serenity Times Two

Breathing in the magic of these moments
an active participant in this gift - life
readily I soak in the warmth of the sun
as it raises my serenity meter times two
lyrics and verse swim through my soul
there are no holes today - I'm full 
a resident, I am,  in the experiences I create
and those that wash unexpectedly upon my shore
tranquility of friendship and kinship soothe
and settle untamed thoughts once clouded
in  the basin of waste called uncertainty
my eyes sing a song of this presence - peace
come close and you may hear...
the fruition of prayer, of hopes and of dreams
