Poet of the Week

Much gratitude to my friend Rebecca over at Veils of Rapture for allowing me to feature her as the Poet of the Week.  Please follow the link to her page for some more of her fascinating poetry.  Rebecca is gifted, introspective and so kind.  If you would like to be featured as the Poet/Artist of the week, please let me know.

Sometimes

i love how it feels

when pieces fit together

meticulously in my mind

bordering an infinite vision

bound by this drive

sometimes so hopeful

but then sometimes not

if i crack or split

which i often do

i collect the tears

that puddle in my hands

but sometimes

there are too many

so they escape

between each finger

as if these tiny leaks

were a sign or a message

for me to just let go

sometimes no tears fall at all

even when my heart aches

and suffers through unbearable waves

there will always be faults

that pour from inside

sometimes i know they sting

so i rage to veil my fear

and sometimes that blinds the path

i know i must choose

sometimes though

to keep from going mad

in a mad world

i wish it was all more than just

sometimes.

i could hear so many voices in the lines of this beautiful poem, raining in my ears, from the roof of thoughts and feelings.

Really wonderful Rebecca!
