Please allow me to introduce you to the wonderfully talented Larry from Yesterday, Today, and Forever. Take a peek over at his blog and you will be lost in the bliss-ence of beautiful, magical, whimsical words that remind you what life and love are all about.
If you would like to be featured as Poet of the Week, don't be shy - drop me a line!! (Also welcoming writers and artists.) We don't discriminate here.
Nearby Surprise
when the end of the day is a nearby surprise
affection begins to shelter the struggle
companionship rises, common mind's rhythm
deal with things left undone
hopeful perfect laughter
misfortune, injuries near or long past
finding perspective through intimacy
trampled dreams revealed
empathy, oh, compassion challenges
ideas of loss and renewal
did we have "that" talk...
somewhere nearby
the crane flails night air
rises from the creek
silently ascends the moonless night
two listening to their hearts
gasp as one

thanks Noelle!
Hi Noelle! What a great blog you have. You provide thought provoking poetry and opportunities for other writers to be showcased. You are a true artist who believes in her craft. Awesome!
I am from california and write a blog about food, relationships, recipes and love. Not always in that order. Please visit. Maybe follow if you like. Thanks.
Thanks Mario. I'll be sure to check out your blog!!
Hi Noelle. Thanks for stopping by and visiting and thanks for the comment. Dark chocolate is indeed mmmmm. It is a perspective food that makes all situations look just a little bit better.
I'm so sorry that the "follow" button gliched. Sometimes I've noticed that though it is there it doesn't highlight making it hard to see. Do try again if you will. Hopefully the next time things will be ungliched. Thanks
Oh I hadn't seen dear Larry for ages!!!
Except for a comment he dropped a few days ago
I am so glad you've honored him with this post.
